STATEMENT
“I use line and color as composition elements to define planar space,
these composition elements define the object-subject;
the subject-object or observed event, does not define the composition.
Observation follows definition of the visual plane.
Object-images arrive out of planar composition.
As images form they build subliminal mood, evoking memory of things and events not yet experienced. Color, as primary visual experience, orients our actions within the world; meaning is found when mind and perception are made into form.”
